Will You Wait for the IPhone 5 if It is Released Only in the End of 2012?

Monday, February 6th, 2012

If you an iPhone lover who owns the iPhone 4, there is a very good chance that you have been waiting for the iPhone 5 for over a year now. After Apple launched the iPhone 4 in 2010, millions were expecting the iPhone 5 to be released in 2011. However, when Summer of 2011 came, there was no new iPhone. Then, in the fall of 2011, Apple introduced the iPhone 4S, still holding out on the iPhone 5.

Now, the possibility of a Summer 2012 release date for the iPhone 5 is very bleak, considering that the iPad 3 is rumored to be the more probable Apple product launch this summer. If the iPad 3 were to be released in the summer of 2012, it is pretty obvious that Apple will wait until Fall of 2012 to release the next generation iPhone, the iPhone 5.

Apple have traditionally always released their fall products in the month of October. This would mean that there is another 8 month wait for the iPhone 5. Will you wait around for it or will you buy an Android phone instead?

One Winner, Kindle Fire Vs. IPad

Friday, January 27th, 2012

Based purely on the price alone then it has to be the Amazon tablet, however when you take the time to compare the features for the Kindle Fire vs iPad it’s not that clear cut. Presently the Kindle Fire doesn’t feature Bluetooth, 3G and the memory is a little bit on the small side at 8GB, which is non-expandable. That said Amazon will say that most of its users will stream video content, so perhaps it doesn’t matter that much. You also get free Amazon cloud storage, so that at least is good news. The display is an impressive full color version, a first for Kindle readers. Amazon has chosen to use a dual core processor which powers the Android operating system. You can read emails on the move, browse the web, listen to the latest tunes and watch video so there is always plenty to do with the Kindle Fire, but that all said I would still rather have an ipad, maybe we should let the Kindle Fire vs. IPad debate roll on a little while longer!

Tablet Nation’s Tablet Comparison Chart Made It Simple to Choose the Perfect Tablet

Thursday, January 26th, 2012

All my daughter wanted for Christmas this year was a tablet. When she told me what she wanted the first time, I thought she meant a tablet of paper – I had no idea what a tablet even was! When I went online to look around and see what I could find, I was completely overwhelmed. There were so many different options to choose from – Android tablets, the iPad tablet, PC tablets. They came in so many different shapes and sizes, and all of them seemed to be more powerful than the last. Fortunately, in my online searching, I found Tablet Nation. Their tablet comparison site provides in-depth specifications and reviews for virtually every tablet on the market. My daughter really loves digital photography and social networking, so I was able to look for a tablet that had powerful web browsing with a built-in camera. When she opened her gift on Christmas morning, the look on her face was priceless. She told me I picked the perfect tablet. Without Tablet Nation’s tablet comparison site, there was no way I would have been able to make her so happy.

USB to CAN Bus Adapters

Wednesday, January 25th, 2012

The Controller Area Network bus, or CAN bus, is a type of networking technology frequently used in the automotive industry. CAN bus networks ferry data from various automotive sensors to the main computer on board a car, which can then make adjustments to the engine to maintain peak performance. A CAN bus isn’t compatible with Universal Serial Bus ports, which are common on most computers. In order to communicate with the CAN bus in a car, a mechanic is likely to need a usb to can adapter. These adapters allow a computer to interface with a CAN bus, allowing specialized software to decode the messages a car uses to report its state. This can aid a mechanic in finding out what is wrong with a vehicle. The error codes used by a car to diagnose its problems are usually only visible to the onboard computer, but by tapping into the CAN bus, a mechanic can view these messages.
